Competitor

Nov 2019 – Nov 2019 Denver, Colorado
Worked in a team to participant in Student Cluster Competition in SC19. The competition is about setting up a high-performace cluster and running applications on it. I engaged in the following two scientific applications:

Visiting student

Department of Chemistry, Stony Brook University

Jul 2019 – Aug 2019 Stony Brook, New York
Summer research internship in Prof. Jiangyong Jia’s group. My research was to apply Bayesian unfolding on data in heavy ions collisions experiment, in order to eliminate the smearing effects from statistic error.

Member

School of Physics, Peking University

Feb 2019 – Nov 2020 Beijing, China
Research in Prof. Huichao Song’s group. The group focus on physics of QGP (quark-gluon plasma). My research involved evolution from initial energy density to final hadron distribution, and mach cone signal in the evolution. Machine learning methods were used in my study.

Projects

Bayesian Unfolding on HIC-based Data

Work with Sitian Qian. The motivation is to apply Bayesian unfolding on data in heavy ions collisions experiment, in order to eliminate the smearing effects from statistic error. The data are generated by priori distribution, which is multi-dimensional.
